Cynthia
Office Manager
I enjoy making our patients happy and making our team happy.
Cynthia has more than 20 years of expertise in commercial real estate development, property management, and business management. She joined Davis Orthodontics in 2015, to lead the team and bring a fresh perspective and outstanding customer service to our practice. Cynthia is proud of the professionalism and warmth of the team, and how each person brings his or her best to our patients’ care.
When she’s not keeping the practice organized, Cynthia enjoys volunteering at her church and time with friends and family, especially her husband, Dr. Davis. The couple has two daughters: Heather is an attorney who is married to another attorney, John; and Alyssa is soon to graduate from veterinary school (she’s currently at RVC in London).
Sandra
Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator
I enjoy designing each treatment plan to fit into our parents’ and patients’ valuable time and making sure finances are not an obstacle to getting braces.
Sandra started in the field in 2000. She holds certifications in treatment coordination, OSHA, coronal polishing, Invisalign®, and CPR, and is a registered orthodontic assistant. She joined Davis Orthodontics in 2016, and works with patients and families to arrange treatment. Sandra meets with new patients, guides them through their initial visit, and then walks them through their treatment plan. She knows that when patients and parents are educated about treatment and what they will need to do, the final result is a successful, unique, and exceptional smile that has a lasting lifetime of benefits. Sandra enjoys working with an experienced doctor and team to provide a friendly, efficient orthodontic experience for our patients.
Outside the office, Sandra enjoys quality time with her family and friends.
Maria
Scheduling Coordinator
Hi, my name is Maria and I have been part of the team since 2017. Escondido Orthodontics is my home away from home. I am proud and honored to be part of an awesome team where we create compassionate, caring, and beautiful smiles.
Blessed to say I have three children and enjoy spending time with them. I look forward to meeting you and providing you with great customer service and to provide appointments that best fit your busy schedule at our Escondido Office.
Kim
Insurance Coordinator
I am happy to be able to assist patients and families understand and get the most from their insurance benefits.
Kim started in the field in 1982, has worked as an office manager and treatment coordinator, and joined Davis Orthodontics in 2012. As our insurance coordinator, she serves as the liaison between patients and their insurance companies: working hard to make that process seamless. Kim is happy to be part of a team that is united in the goal of providing excellent treatment for our patients.
Family keeps Kim busy outside the office: she’s married and enjoys time with her spouse, four children, and five beautiful grandchildren. She loves all sports, the beach, bike riding, and traveling. By the way, Kim was the first girl in Mira Mesa to play Little League baseball!
Teri
Registered Dental Assistant
I am happy to be part of a team that works together to deliver excellent orthodontics.
Teri attended registered dental assisting school and has worked in the field since 1990, in both general dentistry and orthodontics. She joined Davis Orthodontics in 1999, working in the clinic where she assists Dr. Davis with providing orthodontic treatment for our patients. Teri appreciates that everyone at our practice is good at their job, which makes working alongside them a rewarding experience.
Time with family is important to Teri. She’s married and has two children, a daughter and a son. They, along with her niece and nephew, are patients of Dr. Davis! In her free time, Teri enjoys cooking and watching TV, but most of all she treasures time with family and friends.
Laura
Registered Dental Assistant
I am glad to be part of a great team that gives our patients great orthodontics.
Laura completed the registered dental assisting program at UEI College San Marcos and joined Davis Orthodontics in 2018. She spends the day in our clinic, working chairside with Dr. Davis during various procedures. Laura is happy to work on a team where everyone relies on and helps each other so our patients get the best possible treatment.
Laura keeps busy when she’s not at the office: She’s also a student, working on her dental hygiene degree. In what spare time she has, she enjoys working on cars with her husband, as well as hiking, fishing, jogging, soccer, watching movies, photography, stargazing, and going to the beach. Laura loves staying active, and being outdoors, and is happy to live in Ramona, where she can enjoy the countryside.
Carol
Registered Dental Assistant
I love working with our happy team to give great orthodontic treatment for our patients.
Carol has worked in oral healthcare since 1992, including as a licensed general dentist in Mexico, and joined Davis Orthodontics in 1999. She works in our clinic, where she assists Dr. Davis in providing orthodontic treatment for our patients. Carol appreciates being part of a team where everyone knows what they’re doing and does it well, so patients have a great experience and finish with a wonderful smile.
Outside the office, Carol values time with friends and family. She has two children and enjoys taking them to Disneyland, SeaWorld, and on other adventures.
